Winter Speech Activities Round Up by Jill Shook Therapy
I love Christmas and Hanukkah- themed activities, but in many settings, they are not appropriate or allowed. So how to continue using relevant themes? Enter the Winter theme! Up here in PA, I can use winter activities from December through February, or March on a bad year. I've made a list of my favorite go-to activities to help you get through the post-break slump!
Articulation
  • Winter Spin, Say, and Color Articulation Freebie from Sweet Peas and Pigtails. The free version targets "th" and is a sample of the paid version, which targets 17 different sounds.
  • Mini Speech Club Winter by Super Power Speech. This targets /t,d,f,v,k,g,s,z/, "th", "ch", "sh", and s-blends.
  • Articulation Winter Craftivity- Build A Speech Igloo Bundle by SLP Tree. I love this activity because it contains two versions with different levels of difficulty, and can be printed black and white or color. It targets 23 different phonemes!
